Gloria had to reconstruct a map of the facility from memory, and she got a bit offended when you recommended that she plug a USB into her….well, it's not important anymore. The point is that synthezoid physiology isn't nearly as convenient as you once thought.
[blue]"The girls sent me the exact coordinates of where they left the jump ship that they borrowed from you. I'm not sure of the exact specifics, but they somehow managed to illegally procure a submersible and used it to dive down to the Atlas facility themselves. I'm sure by now that the others will have made their own arrangements for deploying their forces to capture my girls and steal my transmuter."[/blue]
You glanced around at your own allies. Out of everyone, Cat had made the most drastic costume change out of anyone here. Her normal leather catsuit was substituted out for a sleek, black and white wetsuit. The patches of fake fur that she had on her last costume were still there, but she explained that the hair fibers were of the synthetic, rubberized variety, and mimicked the pelt of a beaver or an otter. Ana seemed thoroughly impressed with the solution she'd come up with, and the two girls talked well into the night about the design choices she'd made.
Eventually, the huntress managed to convince the cat burglar to help her make a similar suit for her as well. But the biggest difference in their appearances was the diver's helmet, custom-made with cat ears and a breathing mask. It was quite stylish, and completely different from everything you've seen her wear up until this point.
The one who's costume had changed the least was the Prowler’s. The material of his suit may have changed, but the color scheme and pattern was almost completely the same. He ditched the cape for obvious reasons, and he equipped a breathing mask that was less bulky than the one that Felicia engineered for herself. His new suit was more sleek, less baggy than the original. But most importantly, he was sporting a new pair of gauntlets that looked infinitely more deadly than the ones he'd used when you descended into the pit.
And then there was you, looking like a certified badass in your new Kree suit, threads of black snaking out and around you, and wisps of pale green flames dancing along your arms and head. If you were going by the reactions of your friends, it was a rather eye-catching display.
Well, Iara probably would've been watching you, either way. She didn't really need a wetsuit. She had instead opted for a sleek, chain mesh leotard that was supposed to protect her from shark bites.
You were pretty sure that that was the least of her worries, but considering how she tended to fight on the front lines, you felt a little bit better about her having some form of armor or protection.
