Leading you all down a nondescript alley, to an unmarked wall. Pressing his hand to a hidden switch, which slides into the wall with a click. Revealing a doorway that slides open, also seamlessly.
“Stay close. If you're with me, there shouldn't be any trouble.” Red Hood says, glancing to Ubo as he reconsiders something. “Actually, you'd better be right at my right. Just in case.”
“Of course.” your old friend replies, the two leading the way inside. You let Meloka and Junior follow them, bringing up the rear. But before you go through you glance back down the alley, not seeing any signs of Batman before stepping inside as well.
The door closes behind you, and suddenly you feel the ground drop. This secret room, which you now realizes is an elevator, descends down further. Descending for about twenty seconds before coming to a stop, opening into a wider room. One where, immediately, about a hundred men level metal and wood weapons at you all, rifles of some sort.
“Easy boys. They're with me.” Red Hood says, hands up, palms out towards them as he steps forward. “Here to see the boss.”
“You bring not only outsiders, but offworlders to this sacred place?” one asks, accent thick and heavy. “You dare?”
“I dare. Would you rather let them talk with the boss? Or let them make what happened to Metropolis look like a gentle breeze in here?” Red Hood replies, and after a couple tense seconds everyone lowers their weapons. Standing aside, and letting you all through. “That's what I thought.”
“What're those?” Junior asks, flying over to one. Your son's speed catching the guy off guard, who nearly levels his weapon on reflex. But before he can you blur to him, grabbing the barrel of the weapon. Metal groaning as your bare hand bends and warps the metal, the guy's eyes widening. “Some kinda weapon?”
“AK forty sevens.” Red Hood says, walking across the room while answering your kid's question as he then turns to you. “What do you say, want to give the kid one?”
“Can I? Really?” Junior asks, eyes wide as he turns to you. “Can I get one? Please?”
