https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrLIDHDjYNQAfter the incident you were shoved into the sprawl with nothing but the clothes on your back. It took more than a few months, hard work and more than a bit of luck but eventually you scrabbled together a life as a "courier".
Collecting yourself together, you look over the capsule you've been assigned to carry in question. The first thought that comes to your mind is that it has to be Echo Tech. The Eternal City has had a bit of a 'problem' long before they returned to Earth, but a useful one to certain people. Due to the 'chaos' of the city reality has begun to decay and places and things would often phase in and out reality. You've heard stories of Free-Agents exploring advanced laboratory's filled with mechanical life, or sprawlers waking up in a war torn battlefield or in a castles. Thanks to this anomaly, Corporations and in turn high end Unions would often compete with each other to loot them. Which could hold valuble artifacts, technologies and knowledge beyond many peoples understanding. This capsule is one of those gadgets as frankly you have no idea what it's used for.
Nonetheless even without a soul you still have a job to do. So you slowly strap the capsule to your rucksack and it to your back. All the while trying your best to ignore the "pulsing" and the warmth that comes from it. Taking a moment you size up the situation you are in. You know of a few 'routes' through the Eternal City to your goal. The question now is which one?
>Status: Your physically fine if a bit tired and sore, but still without a soul. >Streets: Just run the sprawls streets, it isn't long but at least your safe from the routes you know. Who knows what you'll find, the cities dangers and wonders will be yours to explore. At least you'll have the sun shining on your skin as you run, but who knows what you'll find. >Sewers: Its the fastest route, but you've also know it's the most dangerous. Wasn't there a necromancer roaming the sewers in your location a week ago, a feral tribe hunting in the area and a mutagen leak? You'll be running into quarantined territory to get to your destination, but there is the chance of scavenging something useful or valuable. You remember that a office was sent to deal with the necromancer a few days ago and did the job but lost a few agents in the process. If your lucky they'll still be rotting there and ripe for the picking. If not, well better not to think of that for the sake of your mind.
