Gob takes the empty spot with a cute girl on three directions. Hopefully one of them can be his girlfriend!
The moment he sits down, the teacher at the front start the seminar.
Teacher: “Today kids, or I guess you are not kids anymore, haha…”
The classroom is silent, except for the goblin girl at your side, who giggles at the teachers attempt at humour.
Teacher: “You will learn the basics of understanding Common better and bridging the gap in understanding other students, or more importantly, understanding your teacher. Now, can anyone tell me what the alternative name for common is?”
The large girl next to Gob shoots up from her seat, both hands going straight up. An audible *thunk* is heard as her hands hit the roof.
Teacher: “Yes?”
Tall girl: “I know the answer!”
The teacher makes some kind of gesture with his hand before speaking.
Teacher: “Which is?”
Tall girl: “English!”
Teacher: “Exactly!”
The teacher turns around to the chalkboard and writes out ‘English’ in a really fancy font which Gob cannot place.
Huh, the teacher is taking his sweet time writing that out. As the seconds pass, it feels more like the teacher is drawing the word instead of just writing it.
Goblin girl: “Wow, that teacher is so cooool. Do you think teachers come to the student parties later?”
Woah, the goblin girl is speaking to Gob! Gob feels lucky, he did not have to take the initiative! Wait, there are student parties later?
>Oh uh, haha I think so. You could ask him after this seminar to be sure.
Goblin girl: “No, that’s lame. Like, I wanna know now.”
She does not elaborate how she intends to find out now. Is Gob supposed to do something here?
How does Gob proceed?
>Just ask the teacher right now
>Ask the tall girl
>Talk about something else
>Don’t talk right now
>Write in
