“The water is perfectly adequate.” the Destroyer replies, tone a bit grumpy.
“Glad to hear it.” the angel answers, Beerus again rubbing the back of a hand against his sleepy eyes before speaking up.
“Anyways, I saw something Whis. In my dream.” Beerus says, looking not at his assistant but up at the ceiling far overhead. But the angel knows it isn't the architecture he's seeing. “I had that same dream I had before, about the Super Saiyan God. But this time, it was different.”
“Different, my lord?” Whis asks, secretly hoping his worries won't be confirmed by the Destroyer's rarely-prescient dream visions. “In what way?”
“This time it wasn't the Super Saiyan God I was fighting. At least, not only.” Beerus says, brow furrowing as he tries to recall what he'd seen. There was another.”
“Not just one, but TWO Super Saiyan Gods?” Whis asks sarcastically, Beerus shaking his head.
“No, no this one was different. He was brimming with a power I've not felt in a long, long time. The power of the Anti-Divine.” Beerus says seriously, confirming the angel's suspicions. “If such a being is here, and with the Super Saiyan God, then I must take action. Speaking of, Planet Vegeta WAS destroyed by Freeza, wasn't it?”
“Of course. However, before the planet was annihilated, Freeza did relocate the Saiyan populace to another world. One with twice Planet Vegeta's gravity, which has led to the Saiyan populace's power to skyrocket, relatively speaking. As well as created several new Super Saiyans in their midst.”
“The Super Saiyan? I remember him. The broad-shouldered one whose hair could change color, right?” Beerus asks, Whis nodding. “If I recall, he had no modesty whatsoever, but his power was certainly surprising. To think that a Saiyan of all things had closed the gap to Freeza's power so considerably is quite something.”
“More than that, my lord. But he is the one who, while you were asleep, killed the Supreme Kai of Time.” Whis says, Beerus shooting up to his feet in shock.
“He WHAT?!” Beerus exclaims, Whis blushing slightly and turning his head away before speaking.
“The water's not that deep, my lord.” he says, the Destroyer realizing immediately and dropping all the way underwater except for his eyes, letting his embarrassment burn for a moment before returning to the topic at hand with a cough.
“You were saying that a mortal managed to kill a god?” Beerus asks, changing the subject and not addressing his immodesty. “How? And what was the Supreme Kai of Time doing here of all places?”
