PRI Trinity ShipOS User Manual V0.6b:
(Superseded. Do not use.)
…purposefully built in to self regulate and avoid stalemates, it is essential that all three core AI subsystems be kept in balance to ensure consistent and optimal decision making. Each core has a unique function and associated predisposition for certain actions, which combined produce a product greater than the sum of its parts. The PRI considers the resulting artificial intelligence "more human" than previous iterations created via the standard practice of
[REDACTED], as used in the PRI Unity ShipOS.
The Trinity system is designed to fulfil all the key functions of previous ShipOS AIs while uniquely catering to the
[REDACTED] of a 'live' void core.
Like the Unity system, crew-machine interface is accomplished primarily through voice command recognition of authorised users. Trinity, however, also supplements this with a neural link keyed to the Commander's bloodline to allow for more instinctual control of and bonding to
[REDACTED] and add additional security and redundancy to TPN hardware.
The core AI subsystems making up Trinity ShipOS and their general roles are summarised below:
<span class="mu-s">Guardian:</span>
Personality: Rigid and Cautious.
Function: The ‘Guardian’ core is the ‘brawn’ of the Trinity system — able to enforce its will in an almost ‘physical’ manner on system intruders or connected devices. It is responsible for the protection of the voidship’s assets, be they physical, digital or organo-metallic. This system will prioritise the preservation of resources, operational capability and network security above all else. Responsible for the security of PRI and TPN proprietary technology/information, keeping it from unauthorised access.
Core Interaction: Restricts ‘Controller’ from executing unsafe commands without neural-link approval. Restricts ‘Teacher’ from sharing need-to-know information, and tempers its curiosity.
[REDACTED] Interaction: Prevents the
[REDACTED] from
[REDACTED] and protects it from outside influence and harm.
