"Yeah I've been thinking about opening the place up for trade." You considered the possibility, especially if you decided to publicly talk about the aluminum.
"I can only hope you'll consider us if you do." Hisashi smiled.
After his words your Holy Knight took to standing in front of the hangar's entrance, gesturing to get everyone's attention.
"Master John Doe has seen it fit to invite you all." Gerty declared. "Follow me, that we may celebrate this glorious day!"
After that, and after the rest of Eisho's wives and children politely greeted you, your holy secretary led everyone to the manor.
All of the visitors were impressed by the detailed cake and games set up, even moreso after finding out they were all made today.
"Elevators and automatic doors are a novel concept." Eisho mused. "I'm not surprised that you would set things up this way; it's a savvy thing with so many children you've decided to have."
"It is kind of you to do so, Lord Doe." Risae said to you politely, more out of respect and the consideration for the friendship she had with you than anything else. She frowned when seeing the household robots set the table, but didn't say anything else.
You knew that the demure assassin tended to have a more traditional mindset when it came to automation. Kasato seemed to initially agree with Risae's opinion, though you soon realized that she had Cattleya's mindset more than anything; believing that pregnant women should just get stronger and bear with it instead of letting others do the work for them. Ai was the only one of Eisho's wives that appreciated the innovation for what it was.
Not to say they weren't all impressed— they all clearly were.
The festivities resumed, less unruly than before. A very grateful Ayane uttered a prayer of thanks for the abating chaos of earlier.
Shizuku, along with Ryko, asked you countless questions about the estate and how you lived. You recounted your adventures to them (and the rest of your in-laws by extension): From fixing the place up, to getting rid of the goblins and the bandits, and even the recent Monster Rooms. Cattleya happily bragged about you being a strong Savant, and Gerty embellished all your past actions whenever she got the chance to, with the rest of your wives almost in a competition to see who could boast about you the best.
"Did you really defeat all those goblins, mister?" Shizuku asked you in between eating some noodles.
"He did." Ryko answered with a nod and a bite of pie. "I was there."
"Oooh." Shizuku looked impressed.
Even Ichirou made a happy sound as he stuffed his face with cake.
"When I was young," Sumiko smiled to her grandchildren as she interposed herself in the conversation "My husband and I used to hunt oni."
"That's very interesting." Ryko gave her grandmother a stoic expression— complimenting the neutral tone of her voice.
Shizuku hid behind you as Sumiko spoke, leaving the ghostly matriarch with a dumbfounded expression.
