>>5916599Having made a rather flowery and exquisite apology off-screen, you took to a more passive role. The apology was enough to temper Satsuki's frustration, allowing her to power down back to base. Safely avoiding coming as some sort of exhibitionist to her old man. Though he had probably long since her grandiose appearance through the cameras. But you weren't going to point that out to her, not when you finally managed to get back into her good grace.
It wouldn't take Satsuki long to reach where her father was currently hauled up. It was almost like she was being led to his location by him directly. Either way, her search ultimately leads to her arriving in a rather busy lavatory as she sees the hunchback man currently working in the shadow. Upon sensing her presence the sage-like doctor turns to meet her. "You look well...Satsuki."
"I suppose the same to you...for a dead man." Satsuki retorts, having a right hand on her hip.
"Don't try to lie about who you are, I rather not go through a game of guess who till I have gotten you to admit that you're my father, Doctor Soichirou in the flesh."
"Trust me, I won't. The fact you're wearing Junketsu should be all the indication you need to inevitably reach this location. Though, if being honest, I didn't think you be wearing it this soon." Isshin remarks with a laugh.
"Well, when you bonded with the life-fiber organism to the extent that we have, it becomes necessary to hide in plain sight," Satsuki explains. "I achieved true life-fiber synchronization, father."
"Yes, you have. And you awakened Junketsu's true power far earlier than I expected. You must have found something truly worth fighting for beyond avenging me and your baby sister." Isshin notes, stroking his beard.
Nodding in response, Satsuki merely starts to walk forward. "I have. But, that doesn't mean I'm going to abandon my goal. My mother tried to have you killed and abandoned my sister for dead. She's the one who broke our family, and if I want any semblance of that back, I'm going to stop her."
"Somehow I knew you would say that." Isshin nods back. "So I take it you come here to ask something like why I put Junketsu into you or why I couldn't reveal myself to you and keep in touch?"
"No, there's no need. I've already figured out the answer on my own and through discussion with Junketsu. You have your reasons and I won't condemn you for it. I'm not a petulant child. That said, I am a little peeved at you trying to do all of this by yourself." Satsuki commented as she placed a hand on his shoulder.
"What kind of father would I be if I am to willingly draft my flesh and blood to a secret war for humanity's sake? Both you and Ryuko are the contingency plan, not the first battalion. And even then, the choice would be yours to make. I only gave you two a means to fight against your mother should the worst thing come to fruition." Isshin explains himself rather calmly.
