Dies Irae slowly began to realize what it had landed itself into and gave a blaring horn like an animal as it did. Its plasma coated claws began to tighten into the shoulders of Particep Semper as the Titan tried its best to keep steady from the attempt that was now being made upon its life.
It tried to have such large amount of strength that no Primarch would ever be able to replicate, but the Plasma which infused its claws simply sliced through the architecture that lined the top of Particep Semper. It had nothing to grab onto, nothing to use in defending itself against the coming attack.
When Particep Semper had lowered itself to receive the claw onto its top a chance had shown itself to the Imperator Titan. Deactivating the field that surrounded its axe, Particep Semper reached over and hooked its blade onto one of its fellow Titan’s legs. Such a movement was swift and hidden from the view of the Dies Irae whose face had been covered by the sheer girth of Particep Semper.
When Particep Semper felt the tugging of the Dies Irae’s limb attempting to move back from the attack it just rended upon him the trick was sprung.
Knees buckled and back being allowed to erect thanks to the plasma claw of the Chaos Titan having no ground to be held, Particep Semper gained the leverage needed to pull its blade into the rear of the other Titan and begin lifting that limb into the air. So much strength was needed to complete this feat and even the God Infused Machine could barely achieve what it had set to do.
But, in the end, it only needed enough force to make its fellow off balance.
The scream of motors from the Dies Irae sounded as the Titan began to tilt. With a motion that was faster than even a Titan should have been allowed to move it raised its foot enough to be unhooked and thus had a single moment to recover itself from the attack. While it had some mystic ability to break the laws of the Universe and Motive Force for that moment, the Lord of the Motive Force made his presence known as the unshredded shoulder of Particep Semper slammed into the body of the Dies Irae with a correcting impact!
With such immense forces involved not even the Chaos Gods and Lords who had supported the Dies Irae in its final hour could stop it from tumbling down upon the ground. A Sandstorm was created in the rainstorm as muddy sands were flash-dried by the sheer energy of the impact and all that had occurred beforehand.
Particep Semper looked down upon the ruined warmachine and wondered if for one moment the God Machine’s Spirit could be saved. But, soon it was evident to the Omnissiah that no longer was a Princep who was in charge of the Dies Irae.
With a stroke of the Omnissian Axe the Dies Irae was decapitated to put whatever foul form of a Machine Spirit had infected both the Spirit and its Princep.
