>>5682932, I initially thought it was just infodumps, unconnected stories and esoteric bullshit but there's an actual storyline and controlled character if you manage to make it past the initial confusion. It has interchanging battle sections for those more interested in action and city detective parts for if anyone likes a lot of social interaction in their quests.
We're piecing together the mystery of the Odalisque - The Temptress, Desire made flesh, painted by the mad painter Francis Leighton from courtesans. I don't actually know what's the end goal, but I've been voting to learn more about her, investigating murders occurring throughout the city, interacting with NPCs to understand their part in the story and, of course, LOOTING EVERYTHING in the Dead Land sections where we are transported to a WW1 hellscape after careless rituals.
