You touch back down in the Lush Expanse again today to work on finding your next ship part. Almost immediately after you leave your camp with a nice mix of pikmin- you are attacked.
This creature is another Bulborb- but a different subspecies. With a long snout and whip-like tongue, it can devour pikmin from a distance. A few stragglers are already picked off by the time you notice, their screams silent as the creatures slurps them into its jaw. Unlike the other Bulborb, this one isn't sleeping and can't be taken by surprise, and its range with that long tongue is longer then you can throw a pikmin with your arm.
What's the strategy to beat this monster? If you do it right, you can minimize the number of pikmin you lose to it.
