>>5193068>How does /qst/ feel about external rolling?I think there's a place for it. Sometimes the players shouldn't know what exactly the result of the roll is or even what the roll is for. If you've GM'd you are probably already familiar with the idea of rolling behind the screen so I see no reason why you can't try to do the same thing on /qst/
>>5157232>Player question>What is the worst vote you've ever cast? What would you do differently if you could go back?I don't recall such a vote, despite participating in very heated voting. I'm obviously biased towards my own choices, but I don't remember casting a particularly terrible vote
>QM question>What's an option you left in that you regretted? If that option won, how did its winning work out? Did you get used to it,I'm not sure if this was accidently left unfinished or if it's just a typo with a comma instead of a question mark. Anyway, no, I don't regret any options I've put in. As far as I'm concerned, if players select a very stupid option and suffer for it, that is on them. I'm pretty certain others do not agree but I remain unconvinced
>General question>How are you going to commemorate this season of love in the quests you run/play?Season of love? Can a board as autistic as /qst/ comprehend such a thing? It is like asking a trader to comprehend a thing that is priceless
>Bonus Player question>What's something your favorite QM does that other ones don't?Incorporating mechanics-heavy gameplay, being unique in both setting & (writing) style, and being willing to mercilessly kick players in the balls for poor decisions or even just bad luck. I genuinely appreciate this kind of thing, even if it means having fewer players than a generic harem powerfantasy or other such quest
>Bonus QM question>Do you read other quests? If you do, which ones and why?Yes? I would expect only a few to try qming before reading
>Bonus General question>What other boards do you use? Do you post there, or just lurk?I'm not sure just lurking should count as "using" a board, although that may just be semantics between "using" & "browsing" I guess. I just wouldn't count swinging by /o/ once in a while to see if they updated the used car sticky yet with the current market (of course they didn't) the same as passionately defending your waifu's honor for dozens of posts whenever her good name is besmirched on the home board of /jp/ or something
>>5182743You're right that a lot of people treat /quests/ as /requests/ and that the name doesn't help. But the name has a charm to it and I would like to keep it. There is the problem of random people stumbling in and posting things like "d0xXx th1s f4gg0t pl0x" once in a while, but that kind of thing is unavoidable on this site. I don't think you can do much more than the existing sticky, unless you go full /fit/ and have a dinosaur run around the screen to draw attention to it...
Actually, that'd be pretty cool, let's do that!! Hopefully just not pic related
