“Do NOT fall asleep. It’s not over yet.”
… And suddenly, Hawkodesh’s voice ignites a spark on your fading mind, right when you were about to lose consciousness.
You open your eyes, intending to put up a fight... but, rather than witnessing the demon’s ugly face, you see a blurry image of a spear being pointed at you, as well as several dwarven soldiers surrounding you. The voice of a desperate mother screaming for his toddler also reaches your ears. It seems you are perceiving the world through Kholgarsh’s senses...
“Nooooo! My baby! My poor baby! Let him go, you insane bastard! LET HIM GOOO!”
“ONE STEP CLOSER AND I BREAK THE KID’S FUCKING NECK! I SWEAR!”
“What are you doing, Kholgarsh?! He’s a toddler, for God’s sake!”
Murdock, the priest who taught you the healing spell a while ago, is among the soldiers. He holds a symbol of Anu in his hands – similar to the one in your room – and shows it to the possessed dwarf. “With the authority granted by Lord almighty, I cast you out, demon! Leave this man’s body at once, for the grace of Anu is far greater than any sentiments of hatred you bring upon him! LEAVE! I COMMAND YOU TO LEAVE!”
“GRRRR…. NO! I REFUSE!” Kholgarsh and the demon look away from the symbol, shutting their eyes tight!
“I cast you off in the name of God! LEAVE!” Murdock courageously takes a step closer towards Kholgarsh, making him flinch in response and let out a demonic shriek!
