>Have a friendly conversation.
Hermione pauses for a moment, then sets the camera down on the nightstand nearby. “Very well.” She gestures at the small tea table on the balcony. “Feel free to take a seat. I’ll be there in just a moment.”
The girl’s eyes follow her in the dark. She shrugs, before setting the can down on the table and sitting down. “Sure.”
Hermione calmly walks over to the minibar on the other end of her bedroom. As she begins to set up a little tray, placing two tea cups neatly on saucers, she calls out in a leisurely tone. “Would you like something to drink from the mini fridge? We have quite the assortment of beverages. I’ll be having some strawberry milk, myself.”
“Oh?” The girl leans onto the table, resting her chin on her hand. “That’s quite the hospitality. Here I was, thinking I would have to bring the drinks myself. Thank you for the offer, but I’m alright.”
Hermione shrugs. “Do let me know if you change your mind.” She heads to her old collection of medication bottles. She picks one up, holding it up and giving it a light shake so the girl can see. “I hope you don’t mind. I’ve had a long day.”
“No, no, do go ahead.” The girl responds in a relaxed tone.
Hermione sets the medication bottle onto the tray, and begins to bring the whole thing over. She sets it down on the table. Before she takes her seat, she pauses. “I’ll go grab my lyre. It might be nice to have some music to accompany our conversation.”
“Eh, I don’t know.” The blonde girl leans back in her chair, loosely clasping her hands in front of her. “I prefer silence at times. It lets you appreciate the stillness of the evening air.”
“…Very well.” Hermione takes her seat.
The two sit silently for a few moments. The last rays of sunlight fade into deep purples. “You know, you look different than earlier.”
“Oh? What do you mean?”
The girl waves her hand in the air. “When you were hunting that Witch. I didn’t have the best view, but I seem to recall you having much darker hair.”
Hermione takes a sip of her strawberry milk. How much did this girl know?
The blonde girl leans forward, idly playing with the handle of the empty porcelain teacup in front of her. “You know, I’m curious. You seem like a smart girl. What did you use your wish on? What are you looking for from life?”
