>>5822143''What an army, I can only imagine how much fodder it eats on a daily basis.'' You said
''It eats enough, they say that the steppe is a sea of grass,in which the horse is a ship. An endless landscape of rolling plains of grass from the river Uliga to the mountains of the Dragon leading into the Luangang. They can probably substitute with supplies taken from their tributaries.'' Ehrenfried said. He then continued.
''Phillipe wishes to report that the cavalry has been placed upon a position from which they can charge with great speed if need be and if you have anything else to order.''
''No, not yet.''
''Very well.'' Ehrenfried said and he took off on his white destrier
The Udirgol's are still advancing. That much is clear from upon the hill even through the masses of banners, standard, flags and polearms even then. You could see that the Mozolavian are beginning to close rank almost instinctively as if awaiting a charge. but then again the Udirgol's seem to focus on the left flank which means that the rangers aren't as effictive at that range. Yet you still hear the trampling of their hooves and the shrill cries of both the mount and the rider.
The continue on an then...
They begin to circle around unleashing perhaps the most infamous unit of the nomad: The horse-archer
The frontlines raises its shields but even then you could see that for some it is not enough. When your own archers begin to give counter-fire they rapidly pull back. Safely out of range.
Yet that does not mean that your own army is without tricks, already, the trumpets of the other cavalry are already honking with furore and a need for vengeance as for as they are concerned, it is time for a counter-charge.
