>>5850263>>5850386It's Path of Exile.
While I have thought about running a Path of Exile quest before (it's one of the few fantasy settings I actually have a decent knowledge base on- though I'm certainly not a lore master), I think a Quest more inspired by its mechanics, itemization, and magic/combat systems are more what I'm after. The game also has some extremely cool character, monster, and armor designs which you obviously can't translate into a quest (unless you can actually draw, which I cannot). It is also one of the very few fantasy settings which I actually feel does its lore to power scaling anywhere approaching "realistic" given its setting (it's not), but transitioning from fighting random bandits and skeletons in crypts to fighting against a nation of evil templars to battling pagan gods to eventually fighting Old Ones and malevolent universal forces is another really enticing prospect, but given the natural problems with wanting to have a ridiculous power-creep quest design that sound fun but are impossible to actually run (like every Cultivation Quest), I haven't taken the plunge.
