The last of the Grave Guard were dwarfs carrying a massive hammer, the weapon swinging in a near miss as Lucian threw himself to the other side of the Dwarf. With a push of might Lucian threw himself into the axe blow that proved his inexperience with the weapon. The blow had landed at the chest of the mighty Dwarf, the warrior already reaching over to bash him away as Lucian was so close.
The Knight was quick, slamming his fist into the open helm of the Dwarf with enough force to shatter a man’s skull. A Dwarfen Skull was stronger than man’s, but it was enough to upset the movement of the hammer so that Lucian could ripped out his axe.
Another hack, this time in the stomach, was enough to send the soul back to Gazul.
He took a breath, the weight of the axe clearly present upon his muscles as he advanced forwards towards the Necromancer. A foreign weapon that was resting within his grip that the Knight needed to keep lifting up high.
Walking forward though Lucian glanced at the Necromancer, the man not paying attention to him as he walked forward. So much attention a Child of the Old Ones was taking that he did not even know what was happening around him. It made it easy for Lucian to slowly raise his axe behind the man, his eyes not even darting towards Lucian for a second as the blow came down.
The Dwarfen Axe proved mighty, turning the man into a paste as the weapon cleaved through his skull and torso.
As Lucian felt the impact of the magic his eyes instinctively glanced at the throne’s floor where the battle between the Dwarfen King and his two fellows. Where Adok was barely standing with the help of his hammer, Gillot was upon the First Dwarfen King. Lucian watched as the sword was driven through the Dwarf’s skull, releasing the soul to Gazul in one famed motion.
In one fail swoop the undead were released, their bodies falling inanimate on the ground as the ghosts looked on with pleasure.
