“Mohito? What were you doing?” you ask, your tone far calmer despite the circumstances.
“I was hiding the Cube, of course. Wouldn't want your lordship to be directly connected to a failed assassination plot of another universe's fighter right before the tournament, would you?” Mohito replies, you thinking it over a moment. And he's right, as he always is. Being implicated in assassinating another universe's warriors could possibly lead to being erased on the spot.
“Right as always.” you reply with a sigh to your attendant, turning your focus to the failed assassin and leveling your hand at him. “All that's left to do is ensure no one else knows of this.”
“L-Lord Sidra? W-W-Wait, we can talk about-!” the assassin boss begs pathetically for his life, but he knew the cost of failure before he undertook this mission.
“Hakai.” you say, creating another Hakai with the same power you'd once given to the assassin. His eyes wide with terror, he tries to catch it as you'd all seen the Saiyan do. Only to be consumed instantly, screaming in terror as he vanishes forever.
“Now what do we do? If that Saiyan blabs to Grand Zen-Oh, it could be the end of us all!” Roh shouts, grabbing his head in a panic. “I knew this was a bad idea!”
“Hold on, this whole operation was your idea.” you retort, but as you see the panic in his eyes realize he's not listening. So, you instead turn back from where the assassin was erased, turning to face the fighters you'd managed to gather for your universe. “Listen up everyone. This is it. The fate of our universe now rests solely on all of your shoulders. You are not allowed to fail, you have seen the price you'll pay for failure.”
“We won't fail you, Lord Sidra.” Bergamo, leader of the Trio de Danger replies, bowing before you. “My brothers and I will do whatever it takes to ensure the Ninth Universe emerges victorious.”
“I leave our universe's fate in your capable hands. Mohito?” you ask, turning back to your attendant. “Is it time?”
“Yes. It's time.” he replies, you nodding once. And as he calls out to the Grand Priest, a blinding white light engulfing yourself, Roh, Mohito, and your universe's best and strongest warriors, you close your eyes, sighing out. It all comes down to this. Your fate is now in the hands of the mortals of your universe.
