Slowly but surely the Thunderhawk made its way towards the ever vigilant Particep Semper. The Giant of a Machine was much different from the previous images that Rogal Dorn had seen before. Why a Titan of this calibre had replaced its guns with hands and wielded an Axe only compared to the sheer amount of battle damage that the Titan had taken.
When Rogal arrived upon the massive city which hung on the back of the Titan he was welcomed with an entire contingent of bowing Skitarii and an Astartes. Or, as Lucius had informed him, a person who was referred to as a Proelitor.
None of them spoke any words to him but instead gave hand signs which were directly pulled from the Null Nobilite’s Silent Sisters branch. Rogal had of course learned this language of the silent easily and this knew that the Astartes was here to take him to Rogal’s brother.
Dorn simply gave a nod as he understood that silence was an active theme being performed here. As for its reason Dorn suspected it was because of the odd sorceries that were being performed by their enemy. The ‘magic’ as it were.
Following the Proelitor they walked about the surface of the Titan and then towards the core of the giant. The Primarch noticed all around him was battle damage which scarred the hull. Lots of it was giant rendings into the towers with many of them simply being held through the fortification that his brother and their elders placed upon the machine. One stairway they walked was almost completely rended. Its use only made able by the employment of metal works that formed the newer frame.
As they got deeper, compared to the outside, Dorn noticed that the damage was becoming much more minimal. Most of what happened to Particep Semper was either to those superficial places or they had been repaired by the crew and servitors.
At one of the many doors they had passed the Proelitor placed itself to the doors side. Such a motion was simple but it held a great amount of meaning to Rogal Dorn who had been awaiting this moment.
Beyond these doors was the Titan’s Bridge, where his brother was actively operating a Titan.
There was a small shiver going through the spine of Rogal as he tasted the air. He could not really give word to the emotions he was feeling. It was like anticipation, waiting for something to come, but it was actively attacking his body.
Rogal did not bother seeking the answer and placed this feeling to its side. Advancing forward the airlocks opened and he was welcomed with the Throne Room of his brother.
