With things wrapped up with Melchior for the time being, you and your group decide to head off. You want to check out those ruins, but you send a message towards Bulma to check on the feasibility of using MOGUERA to get deep down near the Earth’s core. It might still need more upgrades, but… hypothetically, with the right enhancements, it could survive a trip through all that pressure and heat. She’ll look into the specifics for you, at the very least. Good, good.
So… Nemurian ruins. There’s a set that have been pretty thoroughly explored at this point off in the Break Wastelands, and no sign of anything that resembles what Melchior described Dreamstone as. There are those ruins you managed to gain the power of the Mahou Knight in, down south, but you also didn’t see anything QUITE like what Dreamstone is supposed to be. Similar, but not similar enough. Still, perhaps you haven’t thoroughly explored it enough just yet? Buuuut… in doing some more research, you do happen upon rumors of odd structures far to the north, potentially some form of ruins that are relatively untouched. And lastly… weeeeeell, certain journals have noted some odd structures on the deep ocean floor. Maybe those would be a better place to look?
“Your planet does have some sturdy mech suits, last I checked.” Cheelai notes. “Enough to handle the pressures of the abyss.”
“...When exactly did you check last?” Bon Para questions.
She just shows off a mechanics magazine from her little pack. “They’re advertised.”
“Oh. Yes, that makes sense.” Bon says with a nod of agreement.
“Picked one up mostly to see if there are any things my bike could need.” she explains further. “And diving mechs were advertised towards the back here.”
“Could still try that place up north.” Don Para notes. “Shouldn’t require more than just packing warm.”
“I gotta show you guys that Ki regulating trick some time…” you make note of, resting against Icarus as he naps. Still, you’ve been given your options. Or… maybe there’s another course you could take…
