cuddles immature chromatophores make it harder for her to control her instinctual camouflage. With some experience and training, she will learn to mimic the background around her as easily as she controls all of her far, far too many legs. Among the Malichnids, displays of bold colour serve as territory markers, mating rituals and a kind of curious recreational activity that some scholars say indicate the arachnid colonies have a concept of dance. For now, colour flows off of cuddles. Bathes the hold in a kaleidoscope detonation from the deepest depths of some shimmergrass addicts dreams. Dazzling and intriguing and so mildly hypnagogic that one almost fails to see the fangs. The walls shimmer with answers, in a dance: she once ate a colony of cerebovorando on a dare and each struggled. she hates the yellow balls that the sleep deprived clerk carries. And of course she delights in pranks and predation on prey. She's already prepared a surprise for the clerk! it will be funny she clicks. so very funny.
Spiders, as a rule, do not have the sense of humour bipeds have.
She is very proud of her ability to jump, move and catch. And although her glands are yet undeveloped and she is bashful about showcasing them, she can almost spit her corrosives a full arms distance. For now, she's taking to drippling it on things she has already webbed.
Looks like cuddles can try to fascinate and dazzle in a vision-based AOE, although her camouflage is poorly developed. Useful as a signalling device though and so fascinating people are apt to drop their guard or be distracted. Particular susceptible humanoids might even drowse of, if the patterns flash them right.
>cuddles appear to have a Sense of 4 and a Predator Attribute of 6. Which is a little bit like how a human would have cunning and violence but... nothing at all like that. Her fore-arm claws are not yet developed noticable, and her glands are small - but she has a rare wrackborne mutation, being innately a Lightspinner. ----
Based on Bloom and Ryona's reports, the Hounds here are being measured than the ones that chased us from the Luperni Manor. Patient dogs, these, and gearing up slow and sure. While Slicedogs, Seekers and Biters are all lesser dogs of the Luperni, being lead by Packleaders turns them from a mildly organised brotherhood of lupine fans into a howling storm of fury and determination. Packleaders - like you! - have Tactics and Authority, and use it to provide Guidance to their peers. This will turn a standard gaggle of mildly disorganised Hounds into an unbreakable machine of muscle and malice.
Silence them, blind them or make it so their fellows can't see them with smoke and dust and debris. If you can't see your Packleader, you are not in a Pack, and all bonuses are lost.

Well. At least we won't have to starve. cuddles is a lot better at spearing fish though. She can ram her forelimbs right through four at a time...
