The first shots were fired of course by the Mechanicum’s fleet as they came rushing forward. With the extended range they were able to pelt the enemy ships with a series of laser fire that left one of their ships decimated within the first barrage. The Xenos realized the truth of the matter quickly and started their retreat.
Retreat, luckily, did not save one of the Xenos craft from being destroyed outright by the attacks.
Hot on the enemy’s tails, the fleet of the Mechanicum came so close that TalOS could see the planet with his own two eyes. The planet was a murky green place that had around it massive spires poking out into space. TalOS quickly summarized these to be the Xenos equivalent of Space Elevators and Shipyards.
They did not stop there however and soon they were upon the planet proper. During this time the Xenos had gotten themselves behind the planet safe from the immense range that the Mechanicum could wield against them.
+Within range of planet fall.+ Declared a Magos as they settled near a moon, +Several locations have been marked and corresponded with intelligence. Capital has been detected and is within reach.+
TalOS felt the information reach him and quickly the Primarch studied it. The place that was discovered was at the base of the largest Xenos Space Elevator. Said location held a massive metropolis that was surely to have been the crown of the Xenos Empire.
+Void Shield confirmed Arch Dominus.+
+Then we will send down an army to crack it for us. Destroying the Governor of the planet will lead to a collapse of the entire system.+ Declared TalOS as he studied the schematics, +Ready the Acillians to secure the beachhead and then send down the army.+
+Will you be joining Arch Dominus?+ Asked an Adept.
>Join them in the assault for the city, in person.
>Particep Semper shall walk
>TalOS needs to focus on the stellar fight.
