>>5429030Concurring, I'm beginning to understand what Anon from earlier meant about "the last bad roll". I'm hoping for but also being concerned that what happened with Chaya wasn't the worst case scenario but just a sucky situation, which makes me wonder if we got the worst outcome regardless of our mostly good streak or if things could've gotten worse in another timeline and Chaya ended up Majin'd or something.
Sorry to beat a dead horse again but Buu awakening and being A Really Big Problem feels almost as inevitable as SOM's "I feed off of Anon's tears" Super Perfect Bullshit Cell. Majin Gold Frieza would've had the fucker revived regardless of what we did thanks to Ballroom Blitz, and if we werent there he'd just kill everyone and revive Buu that way. Hell, engaging with Frieza at ALL would've led to Buu's bullshit. And going further back we would've had no way that Planet Hoven was a trap and beelining for Frieza without disobeying orders and leaving our assault squad to die to enemy Stands.
Unlike with Baby, who we KNOW is coming no matter what because of Mechikabura's tip, there felt like a very real chance to kill the potato for good and kill the horrible little egg in the shell instead of fucking it up like Goku & Pals. To see it be the opposite because of things out of our control stings a lot. And I haven't even gotten to the monumental consequences of choosing Chaya, Buu or Frieza to direct our energy to. I'm going Chaya since she called for US specifically, but I don't like what else would happen with us absent on Namek.
