There was another door further into storage you didn't see earlier due to the uneven lighting.
It takes a moment to get used to the chemical stench of rotten eggs and gasoline. There's shelves and shelves of industrial barrels and a handful of toolheads completely warped by heavy use.
In the corner is a growth of fungus that you're pretty sure just breathed inwards. Best not touch...
It's the taste of disappointment - all the crates have been all been picked through already. You can't figure out a way to unload the canisters without crushing yourself either.
One last check of the remnants show some promise, items with immediate effects: a solid piece of pipework, somehow untouched sandwich rations, and a glass bottle with its lighter. There are also unfamiliar scrap parts, but you opt to leave them due to the weight and weirdness.
Thank God for all the wonderful space that comes in your pockets! (Even if it is just a rental, Smith makes damn fine suits.)
