“We need to ask the duck more questions.” You propose like it wasn’t going to happen anyway. “Are you happy in your new duck form?”
“Quack.” The duck jumps twice.
“Aw, she’s excited. She really likes it.” You point out.
“Don’t two jumps mean ‘no’?” Kobashi wonders as he squints his eyes.
“We never established that.” You don’t know where this comes from.
“Quack.” The duck shakes her duck head. That was a ‘no.’
“The ducky doesn’t want to be a duck. I-I mean, ohm, the spirit wants a different vessel.” Fiora talks for the duck like she’s a duck version of T_T Neko.
“Quack!” The duck seems to agree.
“Did she shout to disagree? Or she’s unhappy being a duck?” Kobashi gets confused.
“She totally doesn’t want to be a duck.” You back up Fiora on this. “I think we can establish that for certain.”
“Do you prefer jumping twice or not jumping at all to disagree?” Kobashi asks the funny animal.
“Quack!” The duck shakes her head.
“She can nod or shake her head, Kobashi. She doesn’t need to jump.” You point out.
“Mr. Phil asked her to jump to make sure she’s understanding us.” Fiora explains what you totally thought before.
“Hmph, I wanted to see her jump again.” Kobashi had ulterior intentions. You’re not going to lie, you feel the same way. “How can we help you, Ms. Ducky?”
“Quack, quack, quack.” The duck keeps honking.
“Yeah, I’m not sure how this is going to work.” Kobashi doesn’t need to be a detective to realize what the issue is here.
“Ms. Ducky, is the actual duck, the host, okay?” Fiora is worried about the original duck’s mind.
“Quack.” For a moment, the duck’s eyes turn back to normal and it nods. Then it goes back to… uhm… paranormal?
“I’m glad!” Fiora relaxes. She didn’t want to hurt the bird. “Spirit, shouldn’t we use the radio to communicate instead?” Hold on a second, Fiora didn’t buy your reasoning from earlier! You feel betrayed.
“Quack, quack.” The spirit duck points at the radio, pretends to faint, and stands up.
“Oh, it tired her.” Kobashi grasped the message.
“Perhaps, she lost some vital energy doing it.” Fiora speculates.
“Quack!” The duck nods.
“It’s a long shot, but…” Kobashi has a proposition. “Ghost, do you know Morse code?”
“Quack…” The duck shakes her head.
“Worth a try.” Kobashi shrugs.
>>What do you do?
>“Okay, I’m leaving this up to you, it’s late and I need to go. Good luck, Ducky.” Pet the duck before leaving them to their luck. You’re busy!
>Write out a Ouija board on the notepad for the spirit to use to communicate with you three.
>Ask the spirit her name.
>Write In.
