In the aftermath of the lawsuit things were finally looking up. The Car’cass militia, after facing a massive corruption scandal had awarded you the defence contract: 6 Heron Frigates to be delivered within 12 time periods. A tight deadline but one your shipyard was capable of meeting if the frigate berths ran at full capacity. Given the exorbitant price of exotic matter at the moment the militia had decided to skimp on the vessels eigen drives, even so the contract was worth 174 million scrip, to be paid in instalments every two ships delivered.
The prestige of winning the contract had also increased the yard’s reputation, unfortunately with the EM price hikes people were reluctant to buy FTL capable ships. Without a means to deliver non-FTL ships to their buyers this interest had yet to convert itself into increased sales. Maybe if you improved your strike craft catalogue?
>Walk in purchase chances increased to 30%

Shortly after your delivery of the Enforcer you received a surprise visit from your elder sister Shirin. You make your way down to the shuttle hangar to greet her personally. To your horror Jack had gotten there first and was and was making a complete mess of the reception… at least he had pants on this time.
“Heeeey! Lady uh, Sherry right? Your sister has told me so much about you.” You hadn’t really. “Your visit is unexpected-but not unwanted, oh no no no. Uh… can I get you any refreshments? Maybe some Spacers' Choice?” One of these days you’d really have to educate him on Raihan courtly etiquette; Shirin was looking at him like he was a rather mangy puppy trying to hump her leg.
“Shirin! I wasn’t aware you’d be visiting.” She turned her harsh gaze towards you.
Shirin Shimada was slightly taller than you with a lean, elegant build and a bad case of resting bitch face.
“Mayumi, who is this f-”
“This is Jack Horner, my business partner. Please forgive his lack of refinement, he really does try his best.” You couldn’t believe you were going to bat for this guy, then again you suppose he had earned some measure of respect from you these past few weeks. “I’ll take it from here Jack, me and my sister have aristocratic stuff to talk about.”
“Alrighty then. I’ll leave you to it,” said Jack, clearly glad for the excuse to remove himself from an awkward situation.
