One of the new strikers comes bounding back in a long sprint. Grins like a loon. That's not all strikers, though it is most of them:
Camp up ahead. And they've seen us coming, because how could they not? But although there's quite a few more of them than expected, they look as if they've slept, if anything, poorer than us. Coming at them here early bright and dawning certainly counts for some kind of surprise.
As long as we keep up the momentum, we might be able to punch into their formations and camp before they rally most of their formations. The Windsworn aren't really soldiers. They're warriors, yes, and good at the task of raiding and running and enduring chases across the dunes. But you need soldiers to rally around a banner in times of crisis. Warriors would shake their heads and retreat, into the wastes, to live to another day.
Looks like we have a small advantage, if we keep it up.
