Yes... you could do it. You could become the first female Supreme Ruler. You're smart, talented, physically fit- and you could become dedicated. So very dedicated.
Of course, you don't think Cijan or Hwat are bad Supreme Rulers- far from it. If anything, Cijan's infrastructure projects and scientific focus after the Eoba reforms have seriously advanced the empire. But perhaps its time for something new- a new perspective on Supremacy.
The only issue; your sex. You are a female, and females aren't allowed to undergo the training for Supreme Rulers. Normally on the highest gene-ranked male infants are put on the beginnings of the programs- but after Eoba, the selection process has become more merit based. There is no reason you couldn't achieve to the same level that male Jaxtians have. However, even with these reforms, these programs still don't select girls- you still couldn't be considered for the program. But that is where you have an ace up your sleeve.
Your Dad.
Hwat is currently the Supreme Ruler of the Hegemony in Cijan's stead. This means all the laws, resources, and traditions of the Hegemony is his to command. While he has become more protective of you as you became a woman, you're still a daddy's girl and you've got him wrapped around your little finger. On top of this, you know he isn't above bending the rules a little bit- you hear he's been diverting some research funds towards his own shelved pet project, some anti-nuclear weapons thing, that he wanted to make for decades but could never secure the funding for. You could convince him to open a few doors for you.
While your early steps in your athletic career have been good to build up your body and muscle memory, the various mental and physical disciplines practiced by Supreme Ruler candidates are unexplored territory for you. Things like debate and politics, leadership skills, and dueling. You've got a lot of catching up to do...
