>>5191395In response to it's sudden movement, you kick off the ground. Hard.
Taking advantage of the fact that there's no gravity in here, you bound off the walls and even the ceiling before making contact with the demon.
Coming in from above it's head, you kick off the ceiling and plant your fist directly between his eyes.
There's no feeling of a solid impact, but you know for a fact it hurt. The demon's direction changes instantly from a charge to a hard fall, and it lands silently on the floor in a heap.
Your momentum carries you down to the creature, and you land on top of it. Immediately, you continue raining one heavy blow after another down onto it's head even as the floor panels begin to buckle and give way.
The demon shows no signs of fear though, and raises it's hand to swipe at you. You see now that underneath it's ghostly robes, it's body appears dry and emaciated. It's hands have no fingers, but long, razor-sharp claws in their place.
With your warp-infused gloves, you're able to grab it's wrist before it reaches your left kidney, and you twist. You hear what sounds like dry wood shattering as it's arm breaks, and you shove the creature's own claws deep into it's chest.
It begins struggling violently underneath you, and only your gloved hands are able to really, properly interact with it's body, forcing you to hold it down by placing one hand on it's chest.
The struggle quickly becomes an annoyance, so you use your free hand to pull out your warp-infused trench knife and stab the blade straight into the the demon's forehead, turning it into a horrifying unicorn of sorts.
You feel it punch straight through the skull and into the metal plates underneath, pinning it to the floor.
There's a genuine look of shock and confusion on the demon's face, like it can't believe this is actually happening. Regardless, it's still not dead even after being stabbed in the head, so it must not have any sort of "brain" in it's skull.
Well, there's only one thing left to do, then.
Pressing down on the knife to ensure it stays in place, you grab the demon's jaw with your other hand and star pulling, twisting and yanking on it.
For the first time, the demon actually seems to react like it's in pain. Good.
It's oversized jaw breaks instantly and the flesh tears shortly afterwards. You manage to tear it completely off, and then you proceed to beat him with it, using the pointed teeth to leave gouges and cuts across it's body.
It doesn't really "bleed" so much as it "smokes". Some black vapor that trails off it's viscous, tar-like bodily fluid, phasing through your flesh and the walls of the ship as if it weren't really there.
It seems to be in a lot of pain, now. But you aren't done with it. You need to find a way to kill it properly. Quickly and efficiently.
It screeches weakly as you stand up, still holding the smoking, tar-soaked jaw in hand. You place it teeth-down on the demon's unbroken arm and stomp down on it.
