>>5224285"AAAAAH!" Your makeshift battering ram only adds fuel to the fire, making it open way to a good few meters of leeway so the others could run behind you, with Isidro being the one to keep the speed of the crowd in check, making sure no one trampled over anybody or that the physically impared had a way to keep up.
"Stop stepping on your feet! We're almost there!" Isidro follows you, despite making a mad dash that would leave them behind, the ridiculous weight added to the shaft of your weapon made you progressively slow down. Taking Farnese's weapon of choice with yours was a great idea. The mixture of indentities fighting against the dark prove to evaporate the currents between you and her. As the tide grows closer and closer, you swear to see her again, and prove that god makes no miracles that his creations can't replicate. Even if your body collapses and gets swallowed whole by the oncoming tsunami, you will show her what it means to swim against the current...
...Psyche, you don't even know how to swim. This is the closest vision of the sea you have come across, but it doesn't mean you can't attempt to evaporate the unholy water itself.
"AAAARGHHH!" A shockwave of power makes you tumble as you hear the voice of Mozgus fall, followed by what appeared to be white feathers flowing through the sky.
This vision... the undead being so numerous that they manage to emulate the ocean tides, the dispersing feathers indicating that evil has won once more... It all makes you think about home again, about the Kraken and the Pegasus. While not exactly being a literal fight of purity and corruption in the same way the statues appeared to be struggling against opposing forces, the Kraken you are siding against appears to have won, leaving the dark sky free for the Falcon Of Darkness to fly though infinity.
As you stay, you are merely a leaf floating in the stream of fate, wether you will be brought down by the water or reach the shores to fly is still up for debate. While you are not big enough to be noticed by either team, you will grow a garden of peace between the sky and the sea, the green between the two shades of blue that will show people that life is worth protecting!
Another circle of fire is seen in the midst of the chaos. The tents you've made before are now occupied by a fainted Farnese, Gunpowder, Azan, Nina, Luca and... no one else.
Their gruesome deaths were likely too much for her to see without feeling responsible for them, and like a child hiding under their blankets, she took out one of the tent covers and laid under it before falling unconscious. She did what she could, at least...
"M-More of them!?" Nina scrambled under the arms of her caretaker after seeing the crow coming into the wards, counting you, Isidro and the people you brought in, there were around 35 people lodged in this place, a very minuscule victory, but one that you can call yours.
