While he's utterly focused on his sniper duel with this Grins guy, you quickly pool up some mana from your surroundings - is it you, or did the natural mana source from the box on the tree makes it easier to do so? And... there!
"Wottina - waddefuuuuuuu-"
A big magical fist suddenly propels the sniping lizard ceilingwards, him tumbling over the protective fence of the roof with sufficient force. His long rifle clatters on the roof as the shots cease from the other tower's direction. He's tough enough to stick the landing, right?
But such use of magic, helped by the box or not, makes you doozy. While not enough to make you sleep on the spot yet, the drowsiness is starting to take hold...
"Hot dawg! You might be small, but you sure pack a punch!"
The dog lady's well-intentioned backslap jolts you awake.
"Thanks for saving me, by the way! Name's Olivia Teegan, or Liv for short. I'm a first-class tracker and bounty hunter!"
Olivia introduces herself cheerfully. Despite her height, you guess she's about the same age as Rosa, or something thereof.
"I'm Craig Snorlison, I'm on an adventure with my au- err, cousin!"
"Nice t'meetcha, Craig! Now, let's get out of here, yeah? I don't know if you know, but that Grins that Drago guy mentioned - I've been tracking him from the North. We got history, him and I. Well, unless you were looking for something on this roof?"
Hmmm, yeah, you can't help but get curious about that box on top of the tree. Like you've seen it before, somewhat. Then again there's the issue of looking for a book to read - will you look at the other towers, or check those strange mana signatures just one floor below? Then again, maybe you could take a look at the lizard guy - Drago's - rifle. And you may have some questions for her.
