>>5668311“I knew I recognized that pegasus! What’s the matter with you, Blair?!” A gruff male voice shouts.
You look up and find none other than Raphael standing before you. The hulking grappler is covered in blood, and all traces of his usual mirth and cheer are long gone. He stares at you with a mix of bewilderment and scorn. He begins to approach you.
“I thought we were friends! You didn’t have to fight for us, but why are you fighting against us?!” As he draws in closer to you, two spearmen from the Kingdom rush at his flanks. Sensing them coming, the giant moves with a speed that betrays his size. His right hand, equipped with a claw-like silver gauntlet, connects in an uppercut with the first soldier’s jaw, sending the man’s head flying into the sky. He dances out of the way of the second soldier’s spear and punches him in his spine with his left fist. The soldier instantly crumples to the ground as if he were made of paper, completely broken.
>“Stand back, Raphael! This doesn’t have to come to blows!”“But I want to fight you! I can’t standby while you hurt more of my friends! Because of you people, Ignatz is…” He cuts himself off. With a snarl, he puts his fist into a fighting pose and rushes at you.
>A): Fight Raphael in melee>B): Try and hit Raphael with magic before he reaches you>C): Attempt to talk him down (CHARM + LCK x 1: Roll 1-54)>D): Try to outmaneuver Raphael so that you can mount Beathan (SPD x 1: Roll: 1-40)(I forgot to give you boss experience from beating Marina, hence the level-up.)
