Quoted By:
Two chairs from Ferrus Manus was Roboute Guilliman, who was having a light chat with Magnus the Red and Horus Lupercal. TalOS could notice the unease that was upon the brow of Guilliman where Roboute’s partners in conversation did not. Such reason was obvious as while he wanted to discuss things more intimately, distance denied him that luxury.
In the end the real conversation was between Horus Lupercal and Magnus the Red. Horus was ultimately a very talkative person from TalOS’s understanding and Magnus was someone who would like to give his piece of insight. Their conversation was animated enough that Vulkan, who was the second closest to Horus, was simply sitting there with a smile upon his face waiting for their Father to arrive.
TalOS’s eye glanced towards Fulgrim, who was sneaking a glare at him back. While it was at most a spar TalOS noticed that it was the only spar between Primarchs. Such reasoning was obvious, that the political ramifications of losing to TalOS had crushed the spirit of Fulgrim. Only those who did not care would do what they did there, which meant it was going to be someone else and Leman Russ.
The reason so many of them were here was obvious. The Emperor, a few years after TalOS agreed to it, had decided it was time to call the War Council together. Such an event was so great that even the most dogged war-makers like Ferrus Manus decided that they could leave their front for the first ever assembly of this council.
TalOS remembered the agenda of the event and the questions that will be asked. Here they will figure out what to do with the Legions who have yet to have their Primarchs, as well as the logistical needs of every Legion. It cannot be spoken enough how they also needed to decide who was to take which region of space, with efforts to go forward towards it.
Such were important decisions that only the Emperor made before this moment. Now the Leader of Mankind would listen to his sons for advice on how to move forward towards the future conquest of the Galaxy.
>Wait for the Emperor to arrive
>Send some messages to those outside
>Try to talk to Fulgrim.
