>>5923569It’s not often that you’re the slowest participant in a battle. Ordinarily, you found yourself out speeding even the quickest of foes you faced. But this was a battle that saw you right in the middle of two Crest-bearing warriors, wielding powerful relics. It was all you could do just to keep up. Immediately, Ingrid sets upon Bennett, not wasting any time. Even on foot, she was still lightning-fast. Her considerable speed was boosted even further by Luin. While Bennett’s own agility was also enhanced considerably, he still could not hold a candle to the heir of Galatea’s might.
>Crest of Daphnel: (67, 97) (Miss x2)>Ingrid (Luin): 30x2 = 60 DMG>Bennett: 110/170 HPThe Patriarch is caught in an x-slash by Ingrid. Wielding only a bow, he is unable to defend himself, and is caught fully by Luin. The attack is brutal and quick, but Bennett’s Crest-enhanced strength does not allow him to fall easily. He vanishes into thin air before his blood even hits the ground. Turning around, you find that he has warped behind you. Another arrow made of magic is knocked and ready to fly in your direction. You hold your spear up defensively and enter your Alert Stance.
“I shall cast you down to hell, Witch!”
>Bennett (The Inexhaustible): 99, 22 (Miss, Hit)>Crest of Indech: (9) (Activates)>Bennett: 3, 74 (Hit, Miss)>Blair: 51/73 HPYou manage to dodge the first shot, which goes sailing behind you to create a hole in the tower door. You’re less fortunate when it comes to the second projectile. The magic arrow hits your right shoulder, and you scream aloud as the arrow seemingly burns its way through skin and bone to exit out on the other side. You stand your ground just as Bennett activates his crest, firing a barrage of magic arrows your way. Another projectile pierces through your right thigh. Like the first, it burns though everything in its path as it exits your body. Ignoring the pain and refusing to fall, you rush forward to close the gap between you and your foe. As you do so, you notice that he’s been wrapped in a blue glow, healing the wounds he’d suffered from Ingrid.
>Bennett: 144/170>Blair: 83, 67 (Miss, Hit)>Blair: 37 (STR) + 20 (Gungnir) + 5 (Lancefaire) +3 (Betrothed) +4 (FB+) = 69 - 30 (Bennett's DEF) = 39 x2 (Darting Blow, FB+) = 39 DMG>Stun: 91 (Miss)>Bennett: 105/170 HPWith his back up against his own tornado, you rush towards Bennett. Despite the wound he received from Ingrid earlier, you find that he is still incredibly agile. He sidesteps your first thrust, kicking your spear away. Not wanting to give in, you take the blow and then retaliate with an upward slash, catching the Patriarch across the face. He lets out an anguished cry, spitting out blood and grasping his ruined face, before teleporting away once more. You find that he has teleported behind you and Ingrid.
