He continued:
"This city, my beloved Mistress, is the home of many of enemies. But they are not alone. To the frozen north our riders mounts began to sleep, their blood chilled to sluggishness no prod or whip could stir. But I swear upon my life, to the Demon pits may I go, that I saw mountains move. Giants, glorious Matron, and below them a growing horde of Orcs on the march."
He remained silent. His report came to it's end, the finer details encased in scrolls and journaling best left for future campaign.
"Terrible, terrible Sinfel. It seems the Goddess, glory is hers, that we must rot in this tomb of a home. How many warriors can you summon, if I were to raise my hand?"
"20 House Guards, 10 Riders, 5 Snipers, and Habta, your Shadow Blade."
"And could we conquer any of these threats, in direct combat?"
There was a slight pause, as Sinfel danced upon the potential trap she spun.
"If the Goddess, or you oh glorious Matron demanded, we shall give all of our blood and more in doing so."
This elicited a snort from Kidane. She grew comfortable in her verbal spar, but the question was more for her than the poor weapon master.
Under your command, you have a great raiding party, but little in economy or allies. 10 years in the wilderness does little for a House. Expansion must be had.
