“I’ll do all of you proud.” She quietly murmurs, but her voice carries through the room, with her eyes directly locked on you, Shin and Tsukuya as she says it, who she was really speaking to clear. With that, the short ceremony is over, and Kazeko leaves to start her new life.
After some time to allow those who hadn’t known beforehand to settle down, the instructor started the lesson proper, you instantly tuning it out and going to ‘sleep’.
Once the lesson was over and you had a break, you grabbed Tsukuya, quickly rushing out of the room to a private hallway, the girl caught off guard and following along.
“W-What are you-“ She flinched as you placed your hand on the wall beside her head and spoke.

As she heard the news, her face began to light up, and then simultaneously droop, as she tried to act happy for you and release the sadness she was feeling that you would be leaving. “That’s… great! I-“ She tried to choke out, but you stopped her, putting a finger to her lips.

“You… what? But why would you-“
“I told him I’d only join his Division if he did one thing for me. If he’d bring you along with me.”
Her eyes widened, tears threatening to fall from them as she stared at you. “You… You did that? For me..?”
“Yeah. No way I’m leaving here without you, Tsukuya-chan. We move to the next stage together.”
“But… what about Shin?” She asks, but you just incline your head in the direction of the classroom.
“Something tells me that once word gets out the other two that were scouted by Captains with him have been poached by those Captains, he won’t be waiting here for long.” You reply, smirking. “So, what do you say? I know you haven’t even imprinted yet, but… it’s a great opportunity. And-“
“Yes! Yes, of course!” She cries, throwing her arms around your neck in happiness. “I don’t care where I am or what I’m doing, not as long as it’s with you! I love you!”
You catch her, holding the two of you steady.
“I love you too.” You lie.
