The suit's "battery" is woven directly into the suit as it's own layer of fibers, and recharges through movement. This creates a small amount of extra strain during regular movement, but eases strain during strenuous actions.
The pores of the suit are normally open for breathability, but can close off entirely to act as a drysuit or even a makeshift spacesuit.
The suit naturally wicks away moisture and debris from the skin, so you can even shower while wearing it and still get squeaky clean.
It'll also automatically open up in the case that you need to piss or shit, which is handy.
The strength boost it gives isn't much right now. For David, it's about the same amount of force as some weak resistive training bands.
For him, that isn't much. But for weaker species, it's a night and day difference. And for Sanig especially, as it can compensate for the shaking of his hands and the weakness of his muscles due to old age.
It helps Kyla quite a bit as well, because she's quite clumsy by nature. The suit improves her motor control somewhat.
Cylia benefits as well, as it adds a bit more "spring" to her steps in a low-gravity environment.
