Of course you're not some builder or engineer, especially not on land, but the Gaelans themselves are pretty primitive anyway. Stacked stones, thatch roofs, you could manage better than that at least! And the fact that you're willing to get your hands dirty is an immense help; you're more capable and effective at helping build than en entire team of horses. Breaking boulders with your statue and ripping entire trees out of the ground and able to carry them about, all the while directing the humans as you think is best. An outer wall of wooden stakes, copying what the Namadans had at their camp, which is in due order since in the last month there has been an increase in Namadan aggression in the area... probably as a result of your attack on them, the news of all of this brought to the village by refugees.
So yes, an outer wall at the very least, when there wasn't one before is a good start. Your main focus though is a temple to yourself, and particularly some sort of pool or cistern you can fill with unholy seawater and dwell within when needed. Unfortunately a construction of this magnitude is a bit beyond both you and the Gaelans, and while the Namadan prisoners are actually capable of more advanced construction, you have a hard time getting them... motivated to help. Forced labor is one thing, you (or the Gaelans) just bullying the prisoners to physical work, but to get their expertise for proper construction... you might need to get creative, or brutal with them. Not that the Gaelans would care, but you plan on using the prisoners for experiments so don't want to break them this way.
In any case progress is being made, though you wonder if it wouldn't be better to perhaps just relocate to a different, better location? Rather than trying to shore up a weak foundation, so to speak. Of course the Namadans have the best locations to themselves around these parts, so unless you wrest control from them there, you can't expect much luck. But even without that, you could probably find a better place than here, just a poorly village near the coast. The bigger challenge would be, convincing the people to accept relocating in the first place...
<span class="mu-s">"Tana! For you, great one!"</span>
<span class="mu-b">"-what does he?"</span>
<span class="mu-s">"Another suitor."</span>
<span class="mu-b">"Oh, right. Well uh, it's very nice but sorry, I'm too busy for that now."</span>
Another celebratory festival by the people in your name and honor, more competitive sports and games, more champions vying for your favor and presenting great trophies. Although you're not particularly interested in what the men have to offer you, and much the same you doubt they genuinely desire your favor in <span class="mu-i">that</span> way rather than a misunderstanding of the nascent religion you are fostering, all things considered it serves a useful purpose in singling out potential champions of the clan...
