Everyone there was now witnesses as the Dies Irae became truly a champion of Chaos incarnate. As his Plasma Annihilator became strands of metal that mimicked a hand, his armor quickly became scarred with marks and sigils that denoted who its true rulers were. For this whatever injuries that Particep Semper had made upon the flesh of this creature were regenerated with tides of flesh taking shape.
There were stark few witnesses to the battle, for a battlefield with Titans upon it was no place for civilians and their like. Those who were foolish enough to risk their souls by watching the proceedings found themselves horrified as they a Titan became something closer to a monster. How the limb that was now host to a Plasma Claw was so much closer to a man’s than a machine.
Such feelings were shared by both Particep Semper and the Omnissiah, for they were one in the same at this moment. Through the Motive Force the two of them felt the sheer corruption that was leaking into the folds of the Dies Irae and giving him such diabolical ability and fortitude. And they knew the ultimate source, for such foulness could not come into the universe unless there was a wound large enough to allow entry.
Such a wound lay in Terra, within the Imperial Palace itself.
The Omnissiah did not have any time to ponder such thoughts. With a body reformed into an abomination Dies Irae quickly charged Particep Semper and raised its claw up high to try and strike a devastating blow upon the flesh of the Avatar.
Particep Semper had to move fast, which was something that Titans still had the capability to do. Thousands of tons worth of metal could be moved at a single thought and thus in relative terms acceleration was fast. When one looked upon two giants fighting they would easily mistaken that they were slow, but each limb was traveling tens of units a second. It was this fact that Particep Semper barely slip past the claw of Dies Irae and bring its Plasma Annihilator for a quick jab.
Such an attack was easily parried by the Hellcannon of Dies Irae, the Titan learning from Particep Semper the uses of a rotating Hellcannon. Through the torque generated by such a method it had brought the Plasma Annihilator of Particep Semper into the air and made it defenseless.
The Chaos Titan brought its claw forward and slammed it into the exposed limb. Said strike quickly cleaved into the metal of the weapon. When the Dies Irae lost momentum Particep Semper brought the Plasma Annihilator up in an attempt to Titan away. However the Diez Irae instead brought its fist close to its torso and lashed out in another pair of attacks that cleaved into the Plasma Annihilator.
A grand weapon reduced to shreds.
