With a swift motion, R-1134 pulls the pins from the grenades and hurls them down the hallway towards the approaching patrol. The grenades soar through the air in a deadly arc, their metallic casings glinting in the dim light before they detonate with a thunderous roar.
The explosions rip through the cramped confines of the trench, sending shrapnel flying and engulfing the enemy patrol in a maelstrom of destruction. The blast wave reverberates through the earth, shaking the ground beneath R-1134's feet as debris rains down around him.
The shockwave from the explosions reverberates through the narrow confines of the trench, slamming into R-1134 with bone-jarring force. Despite bracing himself for the impact, the sheer intensity of the blast catches him off guard, sending him stumbling backward as his ears ring with the deafening roar.
As the shockwave dissipates, R-1134 struggles to regain his footing, his senses reeling from the concussive force of the explosions. His vision swims as he blinks away the haze of disorientation, his head pounding with the aftermath of the blast.
With a grimace of pain, R-1134 shakes off the effects of the shockwave, steeling himself against the lingering dizziness and nausea.
As R-1134 steadies himself and looks around the corner, somehow, the officer in the blue trench coat gets up, coughing up dust and leaning against the wall. His comrades are in tattered pieces, bodies contorted into impossible positions. The officer has blood seeping from a wound near his throat.
R-1134 can see the central console on the floor almost perfectly in the middle of the destroyed corridor between the officer and himself.
The officer growled, a deep animalistic growl, as he noticed R-1134 at the end of the corridor. He also notices the console and takes a step towards it, intending to detonate the tunnel!
