With the Machine Spirits held within his grasp TalOS flexed his mind to impose a sharper image of the diagram. The one that the Emperor had was generated by Martian Arch Magi, which while respectable did not have all the information that TalOS had held.
The map from before them all now showed a series of Forge Worlds that were united under the dominion of Mars. Each and everyone of them demonstrating some form of productions since they were too Forge Complexes.
“Before you all today is the current Dominion of Mars. Unlike the Imperium, when a Martian world falls into our Dominion they are expected to pay tithes within one solar year.” TalOS declared as he pointed at numerous positions, “I am currently in the process of standardizing our travel based on the Warp Lanes map which the Navigators generated one year ago. In doing so, the efficiency of travel will be increased by forty eight percent.”
With a flicker from his mind TalOS showed the regions war was occuring in, “These are the current fronts to which I optimized our transit towards, however I have the understanding today that these fronts will change. Thus what we need to determine first is how to use the resources we have to realize how many fronts we can have, and where.”
Quickly TalOS’s mind turned the hologram before them into a ratio display, demonstrating the use of resources across the cosmos, “Currently Mars and Lucius are in more comfortable states, allowing us to further increase our production of resources through self-investment. If that were to change I cannot reasonably tell you if the gains will be worth it without investment of capital.”
Upon that beat Guilliman raised his hand to get the attention of his brother. Knowing what his fellow was doing, the Fabricator General gave his brother a nod. With his permission given Guilliman spoke, “Then you are saying that the Mechanicum wants more worlds worth of resources?”
“That is correct. We of the Mechanicum are asking that we receive a series of worlds to match what we know to be a sudden spike in demand. The planet of Mars has already been robbed of its resources, and only Lucius holds the luxury of personal vassals.” TalOS said as he glanced across the room.
