A broad grin stretched across Joy’s face, then, and she extended a hand.
<span class="mu-s">“Deal!”</span>
You grasped her hand and shook it. But right after you let go, Joyce slowly unlatched herself from the tree, falling down towards the Stacy’s. George nearly jumped out of his chair as he tried to catch her, but his efforts were in vain.
Joy smoothly snagged the branch that you were crouched under with a webline and used it to swing down towards the ground. When she was at the lowest part of her arc, she released the webline and bounced off of a stray webline that she’d laid beforehand. With a flawless somersault, she landed directly in front of the table that Gwen and George were standing around.
She glanced at both of them before nodding to herself.

Both Stacy’s exchanged relieved looks, and Gwen even looked up to wave at you from where she stood. A moment later, a large gray spider landed on her shoulder, and she mustered every ounce of her willpower to prevent herself from squashing it or harming it in any way. Her smile looked a lot more strained from where you were standing, but that was just your personal opinion.

Well, it looked like things would proceed a lot more smoothly after that little counseling session.
