Woah! Daitza’s howl was amazing! The whole fortress must’ve heard that! “Woooohoo! That was GREAT!” she exclaims with an almost childlike joy. “Why don’t we do this more often, Hyeny?! It’s so liberating! I LOVE it!”
“Something tells me you’ll get along with Luna juuuust fine.” Howling is cool. It helps you release lots of tension when you find yourself in stressful situations and feels oddly nostalgic in a way. You may not be such a big fan of it like your pal is, but still, it’s great to see her enjoying herself like this.
You wait a whole minute for Luna to appear in front of you, but there is no trace of the goddess anywhere. “Uhh… maybe we need to howl louder?” Daitza asks.
“No, that can’t be. You almost pierced my goddamn eardrums.”
“Wait! I’m catching a scent in the air…” Her nose twitches fast. She raises her head and starts sniffing in all directions with a sense of great urgency, though it may be enthusiasm as well. You try doing the same, and notice there IS indeed a faint smell of wolf reaching your nose, though you have trouble discerning the source. That can't be none other than Luna!
“It’s coming from that way!” Daitza points with her two spears at the tunnel to your right. “Let’s go!”
“I'm right behind you.” You’ll leave the scouting and exploring to her. She seems way better fit for this role than you'll ever be... And so, your journey across the mines begins.
