>>6295262“I'm going to work on...” you say, but as you do an idea comes to mind. One different from reworking all of your techniques to make less lethal versions so you don't accidentally kill someone. “This tournament could get chaotic, and I thought of the perfect way to counteract that chaos.”
“Oh?” he asks, clearly intrigued as he takes another sip. “Tell me, what new ideas have come into that mind of yours?”
“Simple. I work on seeing the future.” you reply, Freeza freezing completely. Going absolutely still, then after a few seconds blinks. Once.
“Seeing. The future. Wait, you mean Precognition?” he asks, shocked. “You have that ability?”
“I've had it since the war. But, after things slowed down, didn't focus quite as heavily on it.” you reply, grinning excitedly. “And even when training Chaya, while I did put it to use, I don't feel like I made all that much progress with the technique.”
“Because you didn't.” Bane's phantom answers slyly, you ignoring his comment as you talk with Freeza.
“But now I can really devote some time to it. Back then we were working on the Lightning Body technique, as it could have fried that Tuffle bastard had it tried to infect her.” you continue excitedly. “But now? Now I can REALLY work on mastering it.”
“Interesting. Perhaps we shall test this Precognition, as you begin to master it.” Freeza says to you. “Well then, how shall you train it?”
“Hrmmm, that's a good question.” you reply, crossing your arms as you consider it. “I suppose I'll have to seek advice on this matter.”
“A wise call.” Bane replies in your mind, his image appearing beside you while Freeza blinks at you once. Slowly.
“Long story short I touched a holocron, and now have the imprint of Darth Bane in my mind.” you say, gesturing to the phantom standing beside you. Freeza's eyes narrow, but he doesn't directly say anything. Not at first. But after a moment simply nods, taking another drink.
“However you choose to follow this, give it your all.” Freeza replies before pushing himself up to his feet, having rested from being nearly crushed by the void's intense gravity on the outer edges. “I shall be working on my own techniques today. Pushing the limits of what I can do.”
“Good luck.” you reply, the two of you sharing a nod before he walks back out once more. Heading into the void as you turn to Bane, addressing the phantom directly. “So. How should we start?”
To which the Sith Lord's phantom grins, a dark amusement in his eyes.
