With that you shift your focus to other parts of the table and leave Robert in care of his friend. First on your mind in this case is Chloe, you are almost surprised she didn't join conversation at some point when Robert was mentioning the slavers. Your worries are quickly dispelled as she seems to be engaged in conversation with Phineous and Smutkin, and in a manner of speaking also Sparky, possibly regarding to the selection of foodstuffs as the bard seems to be gesturing at the meals between them. You decide to leave them at it for now and look further.
The twin golems and Tithe stand to the side, emulating statuary. It occurs to you it's maybe a bit of a shame for them to be left out like this, but their expressions seem quite content.
Finally there's the other twins. Janet and Harriet, the two scouts you rescued from the mercenaries. They have sinced proved their mettle, most prominently in the dungeon raid. As far as you could tell, they have found a measure of comfort in following you on your quest, and the victory compounded by their participation in events of Celestine's sermon allowed them to build up confidence.
Even so, for now they seemed to satisfy themselves quietly and at their own pace eating the meals served to them while carrying a quiet conversation with each other.
Should you even involve yourself in that?
>Approach your monstrous companions and join them in their discussion
>Try and get the golems and the gargoyle join the table; although they may not benefit that much from food, you'd like to see them partaking in the company as well.
>The twin scouts may be worried about something, perhaps you should approach and reassure them.
>Take it easy and focus on enjoying yourself. If someone needs your input, they will ask for it, you hope you already brought that point across well enough at least with your original company
>other idea
apologies for lackluster update, I hope the already glacial tempo will not suffer too much with what's brewing in the plot
