As for the diction? I have never been to Britain and I feel like if I tried writing the dialogue in "British" it would come off as fake and stupid sounding, so I am sticking to writing what I am used to, which means like how I speak and how people I am around talk. I also refuse to use some terms or spellings, like calling an ass an "arse"or putting a "u" in color.
I am from Texas, so yeah some of the regional dialect or turns of phrases creep into the story; wouldn't say I live in a small town but people around here sometimes do speak in a manner that is kinda small town or hick.
In other news, should have update done tonight or maybe tomorrow morning.
