>>5752782>>5752784>implying anyone cares enough about /qst/ to dedicate a botnet to destroying and subverting us.I doubt it. Even if they did, though, eliminating threads by force-filtering or mass-nuking them based on "subhuman" or "degenerate" subject matter would eliminate real threads. As
>>5752786 highlighted, /qst/ is not a monoloith. Sometimes a quest like Gay Wizard Ethnostate (which was dropped but was VERY high-effort) or Paranormal Crossdressing School (on its third thread) are 'real' quests by any reasonable metric, but you wouldn't know it from the titles or premises. Meanwhile something like My Best Friend is a (Trans)Catgirl is really no more a problem than Classic Scooby-Doo Mystery, and actually has somewhat MORE effort and follow-through.
I think you're gussying up a desire for a space where you are safe from seeing or hearing about people you don't like into some sort of crusade against subversive spambots, and I don't think that 4chan should be such a place. Neutrality and civility are necessary. you already have a "hide thread" tool and filter options. We don't need anything stronger or further reaching, let alone automatic. We already saw the results of that when several legit threads got caught up in the last overzealous janitorial cleanse.
