>>5214942Damn. I had a feeling this would happen. This is just so goddamn sad. The kids I think will be understandably devastated. And it's gonna put that rocket launch into an entirely different context given that there's a fragment of Morningstar onboard. It'll turn the launch into something akin to a cosmic viking funeral.
Morningstar's a trooper. A prison of his own making, forced to wither away, and yet, he clings on in defiance in an effort to see the project end.
>Have a sad knowing smile on your face as you gently turn down his request.>Gather the Apocalypse trio and spend the moment in silence as you bring the three close for physical and emotional support/comfort as they spend their last moments with their father on his deathbed. The death of their parent will be heavy upon them as a final lesson: All deaths are final.>"...No need. You've already done so much for us with what you've given for us all in the now, for those that have come in past cycles, and for those that will come after. To strain yourself will do you and your children a disservice. I believe the time we have have left is best spent with you and yours love saying your final goodbyes, and cherishing the time spent together before it all ends.">when the call ends and we're back in the Crucible, speak a eulogy through the tears that roll down your cheek for all to hear. >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWQrQJCxBYQ>"It says something about Morningstar, father of the Apocalypse Three, Founder of the Crucible Project, about his true character. That for all the arrogance, corruption, and vile hedonism of his people...that...he still could see kindness, curiosity, and the greatness of spirit in those lesser than the people he was a part of. And he wanted more than anything else to be part of that..." >"To be part of...something greater than him.">"We are such stuff...as dreams are made off...And our little life...is rounded with a sleep.">"Life is and has always been such a riddle, bringing rapture and sorrow. We listen, we suffer, and we entrust unto tomorrow.">"Life decays and dies. At the same time, its born anew.">"And yet at the same time, for those of us who are born with life, there is an immutable truth we must acknowledge. We live, we die, And we know.">"Good night, Morningstar. May your legacy shine as brightly as you did in defiance of entropy. Sweet dreams.">>5215033>>5215012But in terms of help that we can get, we don't have to ask him directly, There's the issue of the No-man's land as well as Sargatanas who guards the base of the Cord that we can consult/look up, but that obstacle can be solved as we go along. We still have Ozmas that we can look to for information as she was the one who climbed the cord and made it to the peak.
As for what to ask Morningstar, I don't think we should ask anything else. We've already gotten the most out of him in terms of his design intent, what happened to his peers, and our next steps.
