Whew, okay! Sorry that we hit a bit of a delay there, had to rush to the store for a while right after I started tidying up the post. It's a bit of a long one, but we are back!
>>5215849“I’m gonna follow dad and Maple for a bit, see how they’re feeling about those last few matches.” you comment to Pantea. “Wanna come with?”
“In a bit, going to talk with dad and Videl myself.” Pantea responds. “Meet up in a while?”
“Sure! See ya.” And so you head on over, first giving Peppa a congratulatory pat on the back. “Congrats, cous, you’re 2 for 2 against Vegeta now. Buuuut don’t think this means you’ve won the tournament just yet. Pantea and I are definitely ready for ya.”
“Don’t get too overconfident, Izzy.” Maple says with a smirk. “You’ve still got a lot of people you need to face first.”
“True, true. Actually, have any insights into the fights to come?” you ask. “Can make it an Equivalent Exchange bit, offer some advice for the two you’re up against.”
Acer raises an eyebrow. “You’ve got something you know about them?”
“Fought ‘em, remember? World Tournament?” you remind dad. “Well, Killa at least.”
Maple seems willing to humor you. “All right, share what you know.”
“I’m just gonna find a place to rest.” Peppa tells you all, yawning a bit.
“With your giiiiirlfriend?~” you ask teasingly. She gives you a confused look of ‘Of course?’ and keeps walking. Heh, got ‘er! “Anyway, anyway, so! …Technically it was Sibella and Sachie that helped me beat Killa, but from what I’ve seen, he moves quick and tries to strike hard. Diversion tactics and surprise attacks are especially effective. Aaaand hrmn. Jewel on the other hand I would guess is able to cover those weak points, might be a more tricky fighter. So I’d suspect he should be dealt with first.”
“Not bad, not bad. Good to keep a tactical mind on things like this, no matter how strong your foes might be.” Maple says with a nod. “Okay, so Guldo? Definitely the one to worry about. His psychic skills are definitely nothing to take lightly, and he has abilities I still haven’t been able to really figure out yet. He’s not as physically strong, but that’s where Recoome comes in. He’s got some real power to throw around, and from what I recall, is also pretty tough defensively. Plus, the Ginyus know each others’ skills like the backs of their hands, so even if you have the advantage in power, their teamwork is nothing to scoff at.”
