It would defeat the entire purpose of this if you just won using the other shinigami arts - you already knew you could beat Tsukuya if both of you were going all out. For once, winning wasn’t what really mattered here, and so your priorities for the fight changed accordingly.
Clearly, she was aware of her surroundings enough that just striking at blind spots wouldn’t work, so instead this time you simply rushed at her head on. Even without shunpo, you were considerably faster than she was, and you were hoping that the difference would be enough to blitz her and put in some hits before she could properly react.
It didn’t go the way you’d hoped, though you couldn’t tell whether that was because she was able to react to your plan and counter, or had anticipated what you would do and so already knew how to defend against it. Regardless of which it was, your first punch was easily blocked, and when you went for a kick, Tsukuya grabbed your leg, before grinning at you.
You had no real time to react before suddenly the world was spinning, and then you landed heavily on your back, the wind being knocked out of you a second time. You look up, and quickly roll out of the way of the axe kick Tsukuya had aimed for your head, her heel smashing up some of the rocks underneath as it slammed into the ground.
She recovered instantly, chasing after you relentlessly as you desperately tried to guard and block, many of her hits finding their way home regardless of that. You disengage, arms aching from the hits they had taken, staring through your cross-arm block at her. What you were trying wasn’t working, clearly. so you…
